Well our Grand Opening went pretty well and as expected. It was also our first time down at the Mad River Armory & Range in Springfield, OH for our "Meet & Greet" as well and it went better than expected. There were lots of folks there and Sylvia was spoiling them all with her homemade Oatmeal Rasin cookies leaving not a single one for me on the drive home! LOL
We will be back there this Saturday evening again from 5pm to 6pm so I hope you can stop in an see us . . . and Sylvia will probably have more of her cookies to pass around as well and you surely do not want to miss those little pieces of heaven!
In the shop this evening I spent a bit of time working on a Ruger New Model Blackhawk .44 Mag that has a problem with the cylinder binding when fired a few times. It does not always do it which makes it a challenge to figure out but hte "usual" suspects appeared not to be the problem? Turns out that the loading gate when fired a few times was jumping forward causing everything to bind up. There is a small tab on an internal spring that holds that gate back and in the open position when opened and little spring tab required a little re-education to get things all squared and working again.
Aside from that it was more straightening up the shop, paperwork and online marketing which has me finishing up here now.
Good night all and I look forwrd to meeting you in the future.
